2013 AI Program- on with the breeding cycle

Our 2013 Fixed Time AI synchronised program went by smoothly with great family help on an equally nice New England spring day. Traditionally we have pretty ordinary weather but his year was very pleasant for the 2 days. Even though it has been a very dry stretch, the cows are still in good store condition and cycled well. Colin as usual did most of the hard technical work, ably assisted by our children- all great farm workers. Repeat AI sires used that we will look forward to having calves on the ground next year included EXAR Upshot, Connealy Earnan, Basin Excitement and KC Haas GPS. All offer great outcross genetics and we have been very pleased with their first crop calves that are doing well on the cows this season.
