Sale Report on the 2023 Bull Sale - top of $26K for Lot 3 Alumy Creek 38Special S092, with 47 bulls selling for an average of $8616. The 2023 Alumy Creek Angus Bull Sale went ahead 1 pm Friday 26th May on property at Coldawinda and online with AuctionsPlus. The draft of quiet easy doing easy calving thick made heavy muscled 2yo Angus HBR bulls sold to a top of $26K. It was a great draft of big volume sons of Mogck Entice (Sydgen Enhance), Baldridge Compass and 38Special (brothers to Paratrooper and Beastmode), EF Prime Quarter, Ferguson Trailblazer and KCF Bennett TheRock.

The Ferguson Trailblazers have been doing a terrific job on their calves, are a lovely moderate size with a well put together wide hipped hindquarter and beautiful udders. Very easy calving, the LT Revered and Sydgen Bonus daughters are very quiet, nice moderate sized easy doing females with excellent carcase and maternal potential and we have continued to use both bulls as joining sires again this season.

We have been super impressed with the sons of new season sire RR Endeavor, a LD Capitalist 316 x Raven Powerball son from Rollin Rock Farms. We have used him for 2 seasons for a complete sleep all nite easy calving heifer bulls to produce progeny that flat out perform. Several of his sons from 1st calf heifers have made their way to the 1st pen of the sale this year. keep an eye out for them if you are chasing easy doing curve bending genetics. 

Our cows work for us, the female herd is bred to perform under tough commercial conditions, calving unassisted from 2-year-olds. We want great udders, sound cows that continue to bring in a good calf in a tough environment. If you want to add easy care longevity and fertility to your herd look at the multi generations of bred in the purple global outcross genetics on offer in this year's draft.  You will be hard pressed to find a similar herd in Australia bred so consistently with 10 -12 generations of leading AI genetics.
